WaiHost – Mihimihi for Business

At the beginning of any hui, following the pōwhiri, a round of introductions and speeches – or mihimihi – occurs. During this time, people stand to share a little bit about where they come from and who they are to establish links with other people present. This workshop takes attendees through delivery of mihimihi with confidence – including Māori pronunciation, custom and protocol.

Time permitting, attendees will also learn a karakia for a business environment.
