Business Wairarapa has facilitated an initial meeting with members of Wairarapa Gateway (Featherston), Martinborough Business Association and Go Carterton, and Masterton retailer David Headley to scope a Buy Local campaign for Wairarapa.

Visit from Ministry of Business & Innovation.

Andrew West and Jon Cable from MBIE met with Business Wairarapa earlier in the week to get a better understanding of the business landscape in the region. It was extremely encouraging to hear that the Ministry is looking at investing in increased capability for businesses. Thank you to members who met with the pair and were able to highlight what is needed for Wairarapa.

Presentation to Carterton District Council Economic Development Advisory group.

This week Business Wairarapa presented it’s new strategy to Carterton’s Economic Development Advisory Group emphasising our willingness to take a leadership position in project work that supports the following Business Wairarapa objectives:

  • Encourage strong relationships between our members and other key stakeholders
