WellingtonNZ Food Innovation Workshop 2024

Are you a Food or Beverage producer that’s flying under the radar, wants to expand or is looking to lift your game?

We know how hard and daunting it can be to find support with developing your food or beverage product.  To help demystify the food innovation journey and ensure that your business understands the support available, WellingtonNZ is running a two-hour workshop in March.

This workshop is suitable for all start-ups, entrepreneurs, and established businesses.

You’ll hear from local experts, learn about what resources are available and hear about their experiences in the food and beverage industry.

We have an excellent line-up of presenters:

• Nicky Solomon, Business Development Manager at NZ Food and Innovation. Nicky will give an overview of the Bio Resource Processing and navigating the Food Innovation Networks.
• Clare Menzies, Innovation Specialist and Business Growth Manager at WellingtonNZ will provide information on how to navigate through the products, services, and grants available at Callaghan Innovation. WellingtonNZ is a key regional business partner with Callaghan.
• Jackson Hapeta, Business Growth Team Lead at WellingtonNZ will share the Regional Business Partners Programme
• Chris Bryant, Food Technologist, Consultant and Founder of Navigate Food will share his experience, knowledge and passion for food, tools, and tips on how he supports a foodie business from start to finish. Chris will also share his journey working as an Operations Manager for Fix & Fogg with an amazing team developing bespoke processes.
• Louise High , Co-founder of Royal Manuka Ltd will share their highs and lows with running a start-up business.

There will be Q&A sessions throughout the event and an opportunity to network with light refreshments will be provided.
