The Wairarapa Awards Dinner – Presented by Business Wairarapa in Association with Festival Hire – November 4th 2021 – SOLD OUT

The Wairarapa Awards have quickly become established as THE annual celebration of the outstanding business community in Wairarapa.

There are businesses in Wairarapa that are doing amazing things, but fly well under the radar.

The Wairarapa Awards is an opportunity to highlight these incredible organisations and showcase what the Wairarapa region has to offer.

This year’s awards follow two highly successful events in 2018 and 2019, that took local awards evenings to new level, in both the look and feel. They are incredibly special evenings that create a fantastic feel-good factor for our region, securing the awards as the region’s premier business event.

The event is a superb chance to celebrate the innovation, creativity and sheer hard work taking place here in Wairarapa, and it has proved to be a fabulous platform for highlighting key contributors to our growing economy.

Due to the announcements made by the Prime Minister October 18th, the 2021 Awards ceremony and dinner has moved to a hybrid event.

This means the Awards dinner will now be held in smaller, more ‘bio-secure’ bubbles. The official ceremony proceedings will take place on a main stage hosted at the Solway Park Hotel & Resort with the VIPs and sponsor presenters. Guests will be hosted by category sponsors at separate satellite venues, and the presentations will live-streamed.

  • The ANZ EMERGING Business Award – Clareville Bakery, Clareville, Carterton
  • The More FM Award for SERVICE – Clareville Baker, Clareville, Carterton
  • The Harcourt Hamill Award for INNOVATION – St Sebastian, Masterton
  • The Gibson Sheat Award for TEAM – 10 O’Clock Cookie, Masterton
  • The Tranzit Group VIBRANT Award – The White Swan, Greytown
  • The Youth 2 Work Wairarapa YOUTH-FRIENDLY Business Award – Carterton Events Centre

Arriving at your advised satellite venue at 6.30pm for a glass of bubbles, the Awards part of the evening will be videoed live from 7-8pm and shown on a large screen at your venue. We will beam in through some clever remote technology to capture the winners / room’s reaction during the proceedings. You will then go on to enjoy a scrumptious dinner in good company.

Within their event bubbles, everyone will enjoy the same high level of hospitality and good food – with an extra splash of event bubble celebration
