The Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce, supporting the local business community

Meet the Board

Sean Stafford - ANZ - Chair

The Wairarapa Region is moving into an exciting time with a number of large infrastructural projects currently in the exploritory phase (Wind Farms, Water Use) and a buoyant Primary sector. This presents a great opportunity for commerce in the region and ultimately leadership from the Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce.

On a personal level I am excited to be involved with Wairarapa business through my role as Regional Manager, Commercial & Agri at the ANZ National Bank and see the opportunity to contribute to the Wairarapa Chamber of Commerce as a great way to give something back to the Wairarapa business community

Dan Lovett - Wairarapa Property Consultants

David Osborne - DB Osborne Accountants

I'm a sole practitioner practicing as a Chartered Accountant for over 21 years.

My accounting career began with Arthur Young in Palmerston North, where I worked and studied part-time before moving to Auckland with Arthur Young to complete my studies.
Over this time I've gained valuable experience enabling me to hold senior management positions including CEO for a public unlisted Property Company.
The next part of my journey was with a Public Company during the time of the 1987 share market crash, before joining a multinational manufacturing firm.  From there I traveled overseas for seven months, gaining overseas experience before returning to Hamilton to set up my own accounting practice.  I relocated to Martinborough after 10 years, then finally moving my practice to Greytown.

In my accounting career I have been actively involved in farming over the last 15 years, currently farming on our land located in Kahutara.  I am also a member of the local leadership team representing Wairarapa accountants.

My sporting interests include competitive squash and 7-aside touch rugby, representing Waikato at tournament and national level.

I bring a South Wairarapa representation to the Board.

Jennifer Taylor - Taylor Corporate Solutions

I bring over 30 years of corporate experience, both in central government and the private sector to the Chamber Board. Having project managed the WAIConnect bid in 2015 for additional broadband and mobile infrastructure in the Wairarapa, I am also interested in promoting the use of digital technology in business and the community.

Prior to embarking on a business consultancy career, I have been the Practice Manager at South Wairarapa Veterinary Services, Corporate Services Manager at the British High Commission in Wellington, and I spent 11 years with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade both in New Zealand and overseas.

I love living and working in the Wairarapa, owning 3 hectares of paradise just outside of Masterton.
